Retweet

A retweet of a tweet made by another Twitter user. Except for the retweet indicator, retweets appear to be normal tweets. They can be accomplished in one of three ways:
1) By clicking the retweet button, you can retweet a full tweet.
2) You can create a new tweet with your own comments. In a new tweet that includes the original tweet as well. It implies you pressed the rotating arrow icon to retweet a tweet, then typed a comment in the given text box. This way of retweeting is our favourite because it allows you to add your own comments.
3) In addition to the information you’re retweeting, you can create a new tweet with your own remark.
This is the formula: your own comments + RT + the original tweeter’s Twitter handle + colon + the exact text from their original tweet This retweeting method allows you to add your own ideas, but only up to 140 characters.
When someone says “Please RT” in a tweet, it suggests they want their followers to rebroadcast it in order to promote awareness. (For additional information on retweets, see here.)
