A QR code (short for Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that can be read by QR barcode readers and camera phones. On a white background, the code is made up of black modules organised in a square pattern. The data encoded could be text, a URL, or something else entirely. It also begins with the letter “Q,” which is unusual for marketing words. (Find out how to make a QR Code here.)
