CAN-SPAM

“Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing” is what CAN-SPAM stands for. It’s a 2003 U.S. statute that specifies the regulations for commercial email and promotional messages, offers receivers the opportunity to have businesses cease sending them emails, and spells out the penalties for those who break the law.
